As far as I know you can disable autocompaction in the following ways:
<ol><li>For a column family (Table), by setting its strategy to NullCompactionStrategy. (I think this one is supported only in Scylla, but not in Cassandra)</li> <li>Using nodetool:$ nodetool <options> disableautocompaction -- <keyspace> <table> ...
